Title: Frag When Loading Bios And Halt On Recovery Mode

Let the OS shutoff the Xbox after it gives the halt error message.  After it turns itself off you can power it up and your new OS should be installed.  This has been my experience anyways.

If you are getting halt the disc isn't being read properly. If there is a recovery on the HD, unplug the HD before running the recovery. Try the switch on the chip instead of from the OS as well. When buring remember no mutli session , use some filler files, and burn at the slowest speed possible.

If nuthing else will work you may want to try to reformat and copy over drive c or e or wich ever dirve u keep ur bios and dashboard files and things like that in.
