To make a long story short, I switched out my xbox hdd and forgot to unlock the old one before taking it out. I want to use the old hdd as an extra drive in my PC now, but I need to unlock it first. I've got all the programs to unlock the drive, however, I need to get the HDD unlock key off of the xbox. I know that the unlock key is stored in the eeprom, but how can I get in there to view the actual unlock key? I know that evox has a backup feature that stores the unlock key in a /backup folder, but I am using unleashx.
I guess if there are no easy solutions to this, I can just reconnect the old drive to the xbox and unlock it with xenium, but my box is a pain to open as it has several physical mods.
