Title: Xenium Ice Problems
Post by: desing on November 13, 2005, 09:04:00 PM
Hey..
I installed an Xenium ICE for a friend about a week ago. The Xbox is a v1.6 and I installed it using a SmartXX v1.6 LPC rebuild.

It worked fine, however, yesterday he brought it back to me as it stopped functioning.

He said he was unable to load the original MS Kernel so he opened it...when he put it back together it was FRAG'ing.

When I opened it, I noticed the D0 wire was stripped, I assume when my friend put it back together, so I re-soldered the D0 with a new wire. I checked all my points and even re-flowed them and checked all the connections.

The Xbox is still FRAG'ing with the chip connected and not connected...

Any advice? Could a resistor or something have been fried when opened it?

Thanks in advance for your time and help!
