Are you useing the solderless adapter? The transparent template should fit over one of the smaller chips on the motherboard.

I've installed my own mod chips before, I even did the soldering for my Saturn mod chip...but all the guides for installing my SPICE are too confusing...I have a xbox 1.0 and in the official team xodus installation  guide it shows a template being put somehwere on the xbox, but I have no clue where this is.  I don't see any chip that says "xbox" on it like in the picture, and there is also no chip that fits into the template.  im so confused
