Is the HD unlocked. It has to be to do the OS upgrade on a 1.6 Box.

took box apart and verified that it is a 1.6 . Deleted recovery bin and reinstalled to E: Just flashing orange. the Xbox works fine Plays backups, Has Evox dashboard, XBMC, and everything works fine. I just wanted to update the OS on the Xenium. I know I should not try to fix it if it ain't broke, but playing games is only Half the fun with the Xbox. I like tinkering with it. thanks for any Help . still Flashing orange Jack

same problem is happing with both my xboxes with Xenium 2.0.1. So either we are doing something wrong or xodus made a glitch on the recovery feature in 2.0.1. Has anyone found the fix to this problem?

I am still looking for the answer too. and I also assigned a quick launch button to my bios and I would like to delete it and it will not let me. it is very puzzling. thanks for any help.

same problem here, trying to update OS from 2.0 beta 2, flashes orange forever

ive had some problem updating on 1.6s before so i threw it in my 1.0 and same deal, the recovery screen says "loading..." forever

1st try using the switch on the chip.

2nd download the HD version of recovery and create a disc using this http://www.teamxodus...iewtopic&t=4922 as a guide.

My ftp address is the same for the dash, and the chip. should they be different. that could be one problem. I set the computer up with ---.---.01 and every where on the Xbox that would let put an address I put ---.---.02 I have been able to send and recieve from the xbox. the Zenium chip, XBMC and the EVOX dash all have the same ftp address should they all be different. thanks for any info.
