OK... Your default item is what it will boot to when you click power.
In your setting, make sure you have quick boot on and set for 3 or 5 seconds. Then, when you hit the eject button to boot up, it will pop up and countdown from 3-5 secs. Hit whichever button you set up for quick boot then. Set up a quick boot that boots from your TSOP the Retail Kernal. That will cut your chip off if you want to sign onto Live.
