Ok, just installed Xenium Ice Solderless. Booted to XOS no prob and copied OS to HD via FTP. Now boots to Evox Dash or XOS no problem. Problem is that usually it won't boot to the DVD and sometimes DVD won't read at all but then if you take it out and stick it back in it will read. Then we got it so it would boot to the Halo2 disk but not another disk. Then it would boot to 3 different disks but Counterstrike would never boot. uufffffff. Ok, then when we boot to Halo2 everytime we go to select a profile the system just freezes up. So, I was thinking that the IDE cable must not be seated so we took the box apart swapped IDE cables plugged it in, it booted straight to HALO2 and loaded a profile no problem. We thought "great it was the cable". Nope, tried the same thing 3 minutes later and it froze again and everytime there after. Maybe heat related? Anyway, now I had "assumed" that this was a V1.5 box because it was fairly new and my own was a v1.5 that I have had for about 18 months. So, we soldered the D0 to the 1.5 point. Now after checking the BIOS and the inside I think it may be a V 1.1 box. Could the wrong d0 cause intermittant problems like these? If it is a wrong d0 then would i be able to boot to the evox dash and everything? Any other ideas on what could cause this?
