Yeah whats happening is your hdd is locked with the old Xbox's password.
When you put it in the new Xbox, you get a new motherboard, which means the password is different.
The way xenium unlocks the hdd is talking to the EEprom on your XBox, finds out the password, and puts it in and locks it.
Whe you put it in the new Xbox, its talking to the motherboard and finds a different password then the one your hdd was originally locked with.

Get yo ass out of that seat and run back to the shop. Ask for the same xbox back, and say there has been a mistake. I think the cost of a new DVD drive is much cheaper than the cost of a 120gb hdd (and all the hassle of re-installing your games). I dont know of a way to unlock the hdd without the original eeprom so i think that would be your best bet.

doesn't Xenium make the master password TEAMASSEMBLY like everythign else?
Can't you just read one of the tutorials and use that password to unlock it on ur PC.

TEAMASSEMBLY is the password that configmagic uses. I think that the xenium OS locks with the original hdd password from the eeprom.

yes, you are toast. the password is hashed from the old motherboard and the hdd serial numbers, you would need to have the eeprom from the old hard drive. i had this same thing happen to me!
if you are not toast, i am all ears because i had dup a hdd from my other xbox and put that one in (then lock it with new motherboard)
