Title: If I Want To Play A Xbox Live W/ Xenium
Post by: appleguru on December 12, 2004, 06:10:00 PM
Sounds to me like you've grounded d0/LFRAME... What version xbox do you have and/or what chip do you have (Old xenium blue or ICE?)

Anyways, one solution: go grab a copy of the correct official M$ bios from "The usual places" (#xbins) and flash it to the chip. Booting that BIOS will allow you to go on live. Also, if you're going to upgrade your HDD do so BEFORE you first sign in to live.

Thats exactly what i had to do with my 1.6. It wont boot via the onboard bios, so i had to flash the chip. No lose to me really.

I have downloaded the retail bios, but how do I flash them to the TSOP? I flashed them to the chip and they work fine, but if I go on live, wont I have to have the chip on in order to run the retail bios? Thanks for any help.
