well yea, new eeprom and new hd, with just the retail hardrive on it, no avalaunch or evox.  remove the chip from your lpc port when you play on live.  because i got banned and i got a new eeprom even rmeoved the chip but got banned again.  so use a diff hd and use a new eeprom.  remember backup your eeprom becuase your original hd is locked to it, if you ever need to access it you will need the original eeprom unless you flash it with a the new eeprom, which i guess is better since you won't have the hastle of having to flash the old eeprom just to use the original hd.

(so you'll have to buy a new xbox or hell forbid, replace the processor)

Aaries: Then at some point some game (Or the M$ dash) tried to access the LIVE server when you were booted to a hacked BIOS.

Do you have auto-sign in on? That'd do it. (Even live blocking BIOSes don't protect the M$ dash from accessing LIVE...)

Solutions:

Since you have a stock HDD...

1) New eeprom + new gamertag

2) New eeprom + new HDD (You can use the same GT)

Thanks for the replies so far.  One more question, though.  I just bought a new Xbox to swap my chip to (I planned on returning my old Xbox in the new one's box) but when I got home, I realized it was a 1.6 based on the mfg date and the serial number.  Can I just swap the new hard drive into my modded 'box?  That would give me a new EEPROM, right?  And I should be good to go?  Assuming this all works, I should backup the new EEPROM within the Xenium OS, right, then be all set?  And still use the same GT?

No. The 1.6 has a different style eeprom then your other xbox; and the eeprom isn't on the HDD... Best solution: useyour banned box as your modded box and the new 1.6 as a stock xbox live box.

yeah what i said before was changing the hard drive's eeprom in order to change the HD serial number (using a special flashing device)

I'm probably wrong, but I thought that you could use the Xenium to put a new EEprom on your Xbox via the OS?
