on a new 1.6 xbox
I've got the LPC port rebuilt
and XIce's install
pretty much understood at this point..
The only thing i'm not quite shure about
is what to do with the D0 point on the chip
and what do i do with the extra end of the wire
that's soldered to either one of the Lframe's pad ?
Also, can you confirm that the trace between both
LFrame's pads doesn't need to be cut with the ice chip!
** Blue Xenium has been mentioned in a tutorial i've been through...
is that the Xenium Ice chip or is it different? **

their Updated-To-v1.6 Guide tells us
what to do w/the blue wire on a 1.6 (if we decide to use the kit's wires & clamp) ,
but completely forgets to mention what to do with the black wire
that's coupled with the blue (wired in same clamp) ..
.. as you know, those wires clips onto the IceChip so we end up with a
loose wire that's clipped to the chip!!
that's tonight's 100$ question lOL
Should we Ground it... should we cut it ??
I've posted about this on their forum making referrence to
their guide, and shall transfer my findings here.

Grounding it doesn't hurt, nor does cutting is as the chip gets ground from the LPC bus. Do whatever you want; I grounded mine

I have remainings of a HD cable that i had spliced to
make a bufferred Jtag (sat testing..)
would you rebuild using 5 pieces of those, or run to RS for 30awg wrappingWire?

Speaking from experience...
GET THE 30AWG
I used IDE cable for a d0 connection once (not even a 1.6 rebuild!) and that SUCKED.

Meanwhile, in first post land, a Xenium Blue is not a Xenium ICE... one is blue... the other is ice (white)
...
I solder the blackwire to the ground ring as well.
