i'm using executer 4981 bios and it works very well ( i know its not the newest), plus it won't let you get on xblive while the mod chip is on. So there is no way you can get banned. Its saved me plenty of times. But all bioses let you burn games. Its more the 'app' that you have to worry about. I use dvd2xbox to burn my games.

so now that i have a bios do i put it on a cd and put it in my xbox and flash it?

I have xbox version 1.1 and i need a bios to let me put backup games onto my xbox hard drive.

Also i was trying earlier to flash my xbox with flashfxp and it says connecting then say conection failed.


Please help

wink.gif With flash fxp you can transfer the bios and dashboard (makesure the bios will load the dashboard, you can check this out by using xbtool in the downloads section) to the c drive on your hardrive and then load up the xenium os and go under launch menu or items i dont remember it doesnt matter. When you open the bios in xbtool there will be a section like drive partitions or something the fist one will say default.xbe the second one is where you should add the name of the dashboard u want it to launch(check the dashboard file there should be an .xbe somewhere. Whatever the name of that xbe is that is what u need to add under the drive partions under two or something. I'm sooooo F-ing tired. Sorry sad.gif Add launch item go under hardrive c find the bios and add it. Have fun laugh.gif

Use M8 1.6 with an LBA48 hack on a 1.6 xbox

Use X2 4981.06 or X2 4983.06 on a non 1.6 xbox
