hmmmm the second one looks like its lower quality... look at the via near ".com" on the second chip... different but only a slight difference....
look how badly the "d0" was printed on their... if it was up to me... i'd say that either Xodus has gone to cheaper production methods or these are new clones.... possibly with a hacked XOS despite the difficulties in modification of the XOS.... |

please read above...your chip is not a clone
official resellers wouldnt risk selling clones...and have really no reason to do so
if it is a bad chip then that is a different story |
You don't know what your talking about.
I got a clone from an official reseller and so have many others.

ncaissie is right... remember the first clones came from an Official Reseller who was pissed at OzXodus...

He's talking about an ICE Chip..
They may not know they are selling clones.

Yeah, but they're *NOT* selling clones!
The seem two be two variants of ICE chips currently, and BOTH are original!
One has crisp clear text with numbers, the other has shoddy text without.
According to Team Xodus both are original
(my guess is that they had to ramp up volume to satisfy demand

)

If a reseller is Official, it would be hard for the company to not know if they are selling clones. Official resellers purchase their products from the source.

Even if they're not official.... it would be very hard for them to not know they're purchasing clones.
People who purchase clones for resale know exactly what they're doing 99% of the time.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something..... probably a cheap knockoff something.

Well there seems to be a problem with the cheaper looking chips.
Different parts maybe? Or maybe Act or Act 2 is killing them?
People are looking for answers not excuses.
It's very hard to tell if it is the solderless, the install or the chip is the problem.
But majority rules, in my opinion thats just a hell of a coincidence.
Thanks

I'd just like to say that modchipman.com purchases our chips directly from teamxodus, and instead of assuming a chip is a clone because it doesn't work, why not try troubleshooting it, try the ERS, and so on.
most people who are having problems are having them with the 1.6 version xbox, and probably because the rebuild is shoddy or wires are crossing or so on.. just please make sure your install is good, even try another xbox if need be, to verify the chip and its problems..
if you've bought it from us, use our ticket support system for installation help, we're glad to help out any of our customers
The are no Xenium Clone Ice chips.
2 factories were used.
'nuff said.
