I think the XBL/Formatter bug can also cause error 13
if its error 5 your hdd is locked. If it error 21 try and boot MSdash with a game already in the dvd drive.
I dont get any number at all. Just that message in like 6 different languages.
I am running the latest X2 bios, been using ava but have thc lite and evox on there, all latest versions, I think. hdd is locked, the last time it worked I was on Live, but I don't think that has anything to do with it, loads the flubber and dies at the message screen. no number.
try downloading a retail bios from Xbins and flashing it to your xenium... same thing as booting from the tsop and see if that works.... maybe your tsop is corrupted....

Dang good idear there EmperorPsiblade. I'll give it a try.

EDIT: Can I just take the chip off the LPC without disconnecting the D0 and try and boot it that way? I dont want to desolder the D0 if I don't have to. Wondering If I take the chip off woud it boot to TSOP. Although I dont think its the chip thats the problem.
The only other time it did this was when I tried to do the 12volt fan mod, it would just frag, and I had a helluva time splicing the fan wires back together so it wouldnt frag when it booted. And I recently had the box apart to unlock my stock drive. So maybe I disturbed the fan wires.
hmm maybe some sort or electrial short ? I dunno this is very weird, you sure you tried booting MS dash from a flashed bank on the chip ?
I think so, I chose the bank, after I selected the 1mb config. Then It said it deted original M$ 4933 or whatever it is. But it said it ABOVE the Bank 1 section. Which I found to be weird. Ya know, like the original dash when you have other bios's in there.
I tried both, both fragged. The box has been working great for a long time. I leave it on for hours and hours, never had a problem. I am totally puzzled. I am gonna have to open it up and check the fan wires. Cuz thats the only thing I can think of.
I'll try the M$ bios again, maybe a different one this time, see what happens.
check your wites and you LPC, lemme know.
