I recently got 4 xeniums (from divineo) + 4 solderless adapters and today i tried to install them into a v1.1. Everything seemed ok, screw is tightened, the Wire was clearly in the d0 point, but when i boot i get: VERY short green led, boot of, a little big longer green led and then boot of, then for a moment solid green led, then Red/green blinking.
Also you dont get any visual, the screen stays black, you dont get the famous error screen, you dont get xenium menu, u get nothing. When I get the chip out everything works fine, so its not any of the other hardware that has been damaged.
As far as i can tell the red led on the modchip isnt burning, tried everything, switched both the adapters as the modchips, i have the same problem everywhere, so i was hoping you guys could give me a solution to my problems?

Did either of you guys install the optional rivets with the solderless adaptor?
If not, maybe try that.

First tried without, then with the rivets, no succes, from the 4 chips i had i tried 2, and 2 different solderless adapters, didnt work... really its not problem witht he xbox itself, it does work with the chip out of the box, didnt solder a thing so no solder splash either

Here is the Trouble Shoot tips for the solderless adapter.
1. Clean the Lpc holes (also d0) with alcohol to get a untistatic coating off
2. Use rivets
3. Do the Paper Folder Trick

, i tried if it might just be my d0 point, but i have this problem with every 'hole' on my xbox, i believe they are somehow smaller then usual :|

Use the d0 point on the other side of mobo cause it is bigger and easyer to install.
Sure might still be to small and then just have to solder on top of it.

You did not make same mistake as mackjack. You did realise the d0 point are on different places depending of the mobo version?
EDIT:
Also wire is not ment to go in the d0 hole, just laying on top of it.

Yea, look over the Xenium guides pinned at the top of the forum. The d0 point on the V1.0 is fine. I used the solderless briefly, the hole is not too small, the wire doesnt go THOUGH the hole, its just sits in it. If you can't get the wire in it. Take a small pin and just poke it in maybe there is some resin or something covering the hole.
