Title: Xenium Or Smart Xxx ?

I'm thinking in wich modchip I should buy...
Both looks like cool, but Smart XXX has more flash memory than Xenium...

Could anybody say me wich one should I choose and why ???
Are there any others significant things to consider ???

I have (2) Xbox's modded, one with a Xenium and one with a Smartxx in it.  They are both really nice chips, so I don't think you can go wrong with either.  Review the features and functions and see what's important to you, but the most important decision you should make is where you buy it from.

There are Xenium fakes out there, so buy from a respected dealer and review that dealer's feedback in that forum.

One thing I will say, is that the Smartxx boots significantly faster for me than the Xenium.   The 4 meg of the Smartxx vs. 2 meg of the Xenium may be important to some, but not to me.  It all depends on what you are going to use it for.  I would consider myself a mid-level user.  I am sure I am not using some cool functions that are there, and will defer to others.

You can't go wrong with either if you buy it from the right dealer.  Just make sure before you buy that you email them and they include a pin header.

Using the right settings.. and OS revision. Xenium will not be any slower during boot.

and that much flash mem isnt needed unless your a dev....  who needs that many bios's????

I like xenium better than smartxx, cause they lied just to get some sales...

I think you should also ask this same question in the SmartXX forum. I personally have owned both chips so heres my 2 cents. The SmartXX has built in HTTP server which lets you flash a bios directly from your PC, while the xenium, correct me if I am wrong, is under development, but it balances out by including a built in FTP,and for people saying boot time, I personally did not see any change in boot times. The regular Xenium also is cheaper then the SmartXX. I also found it easier to prepare the HD as the OS2 has better HD tools and more warnings to make it as easy as possible for the user to prepare a Hardrive. What really made me sell my SmartXX was the Xenium Ice as it comes with the X-OR-EASE(?) and I have also conformed from BMMODS that ozXodus will be releasing the led sticks to be bought without buying Xenium ICE. So there you go. Hope that was helpful.

I am a Xenium ICE owner and I an REALY satisfied with it.
I have no experience of the SmartXX chip however.

I have reflashed my Xenium with OS 2 Beta a few times now and it seems to be getting slower and slower at flashing the BIOS.
