Title: Evo Dash Wont Boot

XENIUM CHIP INSTALLED AND SEEMS TO BE WORKING FINE. AT START UP XENIUM OS BOOTS. I HAVE ALREADY UPGRADED THE OS TO V1.1 WITH A MEMOREX CD-RW. I HAVE ALSO CREATED AN EVOX M7 CD IN THE EXACT SAME MANNER (BIOS.BIN OF COURSE). I HAVE FLASHED IT TO FROM THE D:\ AND THEN PROGRAMMED THE FLASH. IT FLASHES FINE AND DETECTS EVOX M7. IVE ALSO SET IT TO A QUICK START BUTTON. PROBLEM IS I CANT GET IT TO BOOT. IT ALWAYS GOES TO THE MS DASH. WHERE DO I START TO LOOK FOR THE PROBLEM? IS IT THE DO? MY SOLDER CONNECTIONS ARE SH!T BUT I FIGURED THEY WERE GOOD ENOUGH SINCE THE CHIP BOOTS?

look in your C: and make sure your EvoX dash file is  evoxdash.xbe

this may be the problem

The Evox M7 bios is only a bios, not a dashboard. The bios only lets you boot any dashboard you choose, but you still have to install one. Check the tutorials for help on installing the Evox dashboard.

Install the dashboard on your Xbox! Just like stated before:

EvoXM7 = BIOS
Evolution X = Dashboard

O.K O.K. That makes sense. But how do i know that evox m7 is flashed or working properly. i know that xenium os recognizes it but does it not have a boot screen that it goes to when you select it as a bios? i thought i read that one of the bioses out there goes to a bios boot screen. So now ive went and downloaded slayers and cant seem to find a good noob guide to installing it with a xenium chip. ive already swapped my xbox hd with a wd200gb (only 137 recogniable) so do i still have to back up my c:/ via ftp? i wouldnt think so since ive got another hd as a backup. someone please post a good noob link if you guys dont want to take the time to answer my questions.

Took me a while to figure out how to get the slayer's disc to burn correctly but after forcing my self to read one more tutorial start to finish (slayers pdf),BAM, right there it was, with screen shots and all. anyways thanks for the help folks. Kinda smells like......poo-nasty!
