xenium os 1.1
type s controller
it does not even go to the screen that allows me to go into the menu

i just followed the instructions in the xenium update manual to reload v1.1 os that i got from the ozxodus website. since the xenium chip would not boot to its menu so i could go into safe mode i started the xbox with the chip switched to safe mode. as the manual said, it should load the os then reboot. the screen says loading....got from cd but the xbox did not reboot

i turned the xbox off myself, pulled the chip and switched it back to normal mode and its still doing the same thing (the xenium boots up, apperas to load. the data shows in the top left of the screen, then it stops and stays on the xenium www.ozxodus.com screen).

i just unplugged every single wire on the xbox and then reattached them. nothing different.

hmmmmmm....lets see.... try booting it without a controller in... and remove any other devices like the dvd remote
PS: for some reason... it doesn't reboot automatically on some boxes but it did on mine

well it worked fine after that. did it just need to reboot all the ports???? strange! ive rebooted it 6 or 7 times to check that it is still working, works fine now. thank you i was about to throw the damn thing at the wall

just a little more info for anyone who has this problem in the future. my xbox is a v1.0, everything that was connected at the time of problem: samsung sdg-605 dvd drive, western digital caviar wd2500 250gb hard drive (not locked at the time), three s type controllers, ethernet cable, and of course a/v cable and power cable. i removed the xenium chip and tried out another chip, then reinstalled the xenium when the problem occured.
