Title: Audio Works, Bios Doesn't
Post by: danania1 on March 27, 2004, 10:02:00 AM
I have a couple of cd-rws.  One being a sony, one being a verbatim and one being a Maxell.  They all, when I burn music to them play in the M$ Dash music selection; however, when I burn the BIOS.BIN and the dummy files to the cd, I get the error message that the "BIOS IS NOT PROPERLY SIZED"  I don't understand what I could be doing wrong.  I have tried multiple different Bios' and I get the same message for all of them.  I followed the Nero burning directions exactly.  Any one have any ideas?

I had the same problem when I tried burning it as an Xbox game disc, using GNUGDFIMAGE. When I followed the instructions in the Xenium manual (using Nero 6), it worked fine.  Make sure you're padding the disc out though - I used an ISO image of my install CD as a padding file, slight overkill but it worked fine.

btw, I used a Ritek DVD-R, not a CDRW, but it shouldn't make a difference as you've already proven the discs work in your machine.
