Ummm you DO know that you can buy it in the States, right?

I dont want to make adverts, but there are resellers which can be found in the SmartXX section and on the smartxx homepage.

i'm not judging your opinion, but i do ask myself what that has to do with the quality and the features of the chip wich are clearly more advanced then the xenium's..
And the LCD support is much better.
i've just bought me a 20x4 LCD from http://www.htvision.com for only 15 EUR.
no fiddeling with DB9 and spi connectors, just a quick solder and you're off.
