| Turn the x-box off flip the recovery mode switch on the modchip and then reboot the xbox and insert the cdrw you made into the drive or just leave it in before you turn off EDIT the light on the chip should remain green once it is done (as far as I can remember) mine was red while it was flashing |

Also note that once you switch off you need to flip the switch back if the white on the PCB is showing it's in recovery mode |
