Check your soldering...
also try pulling the power out of the back of the xbox (when it goes wrong) for 20+ secs and see if it works.

At a guess your soldering on the LPC pin header is a bit off (splashed over joints maybe)

Mine does the exact same thing and Im a ver 1.0 like cydetrackd... something seems wrong... weve been having the exact same problems...
