Sounds like either a weak or loose pin connection or a bad D0 connection. Try re examining your soldering job and look for any solder bridges. You may want to use a meter to test as some bridges can be too small to see.

Went and bought a voltometer.  Seems I had some bridges on the lpc.  Is there supposed zero ohms between all points or is just a little OK?

0 Ohms = No resistance = They are connected.  You want (a theoretical) infinite resistance between each point.  I'm not sure what the chipset actually has for resistance on between pins on the LPC, but you should have a VERY high number.  If you get 0, then you have a problem!

You need to hook the xbox up to the tv to see if you get the Xenium screen when you boot the mod.  When you first power on the xbox the mod will be red then will switch to blue.  If you get this then your install is good you need to then press the "white" button on your controller when you see the Xenium Screen when you first boot the system.  You will then be able to select what bank you want and flash the mod.

one more thing...use the regular A/V cable to see the Xenium screen when you boot your box.  I have a version 1.5 xbox with the component cables and the xenium screen will not show unless I boot with the regular A/V cables.

Ok I see that it starts at the bottom of the gauge at a high number and goes up to 0.  So I guess the question is now if the needle moves only a very small amount is the connection clean or does there have to be absolutely no movement?  Thanks

Korn00,  Dude I was thinking you were full of crap and thought it had to be a solder problem.  But I tried loading it and it worked.  I can't believe I didnt try it just to lazy to reconnect everything.  Man what a F'en relief.  Thanks
