You mean the pogo pin on the Spider Chip itself?

If this is what you mean i think it's the only thing you can do, btw which version xbox do you have?

Hello there ...

I assume the the pogo pin poped out from the top ? tell your dad to use some long nose plyers to push the pogo pin back in through the top. Solderring may or may not be required but it can be soldered to the pad just beside the pogo pin on the top.

Have a really close look at the hole where the pogo pin goes , it's a circle and then it has a tiny pad in front of the circle !  Just push the pogo pin in firmly then solder it and then solder will flow from the top of the pogo pin down onto the tiny pad.
