i`ll have to agree with you, they are shite, and yes alot of resellers are stuck with the stock.

Owned one, spent 12 hours trying to flash the bios. Finally worked by holding the chip down with a pencil. Chip would only work if it was pressed down with some force. Saw a tut on a guy using a lego underneath the dvdrom to keep the chip down. I wont own another one.

Go to www.xbox-scene.com and you will see the Spider GX review. As you can see some people have no problem installing the chips and like the feautres.

Ofcourse there are many many people who are having or have had problems installing and using these chips but remember alot of these people can't install any other chip either and may be sucked in by marketting and are now in over their head !

Instead of getting angry why not try to sort out the problems and issues so anyone that has one can use it !

It could be a simple thing like put the spacer ( washer ) under the chip not on top of the chip to make a good connection !
