Title: Spiderchip 1.1 On An Xbox V1.6
Post by: dishnewguy on December 15, 2005, 10:19:00 AM
First of all you have to have your BIOS CD (or DVD) in the drive when you power up.
Next, make sure the chip is seated right, I have one and it never seats right, I have to hold it down to get it to make contact right.
I would suggest soldering a chip in if you are making this a permant mod.
I only use the spider chip for repairs or hard drive upgrades with softmods, then remove the chip.

It is definitely seated right, I did the popcicle trick which makes it sit great. Shouldn't I at least get the cromwell bios showing up on boot up, isn't that where I flash with the disc?
