I am pretty sure that it is supposed to be the combo of Tetris and SW: CW... just the two games on one DVD.

Your best best would be to try to get a local store to match the online deal.

Well, most likely you will be getting a DVD with two games on it.

Best bet is to walk in to a store, and talk with a manager.

Yes. Its a bundle system indeed. I got one a month ago at Circuit city for $179 but they are outta that game ( Clone war and tetris in one disc) and sale clark gave me two separate games. Anyway, its matter of time I may get a call from them saying that the price mistake bla..bla then I can do "false advertisement" thing to pull at least one. Hopefully. TSOP boxes for $175...anyone???  biggrin.gif

No. Compusa opens 7 days a week until 6 pm on Sunday. My 4 orders well I just cancelled via internet. Since I have order numbers. The managers offered me if I want the system for $179 then the game is mine for free. Like $50 free. But I want it all $50 and they can't help it. Anyway, I just don't have time as my license exam is next week and I have to stick my butt to the chair anyway. Thanks for the link though.  sad.gif

Drove 25 miles to the nearest store (after calling, and the manager said, "go ahead and bring the add in").

They took one look at it, and said, "No, you must have changed the price."  That made me mad.  I had them look it up on the website, and sure enough, there it is.

Well, long story short... after over an hour of arguing, and feigning fury that they called me a liar, they said they "Will not honor a COMPUSA.com misprint."   If I want to do anything more, I have to "take it up with corporate."
Of course, corporate is closed today.

So no luck on my end.  Next step is to see if Best Buy will price match this... which is not very likely.

San Bernardino store are gay, the whole bunch of them.

Maybe some of you will have some luck.

Peace.

Hmm.. and now the website shows that it is sold out...

Those of you who stick with your orders might be able to make some progress here... they are acting to change it as we speak.

But, I doubt the people that are ordering them off of the website will get any because the number is for the game itself,

No.  It's the system with the games.

Yes hoppy, it says that, but i went to the store and the product number is for the game itself, no system.  So ordering it on the internet, i assume it is all computerized so they will send you the game since that is the number that goes with the $50.

Thank you, olftboy. You beat me to it.

Come on guys, use some common sense. Stuff like this is bound to happen.
Of course there's going to be some form of policy or law that protects the business from mistakes.

False advertisment is when the business knowingly tricks you into buying something that isn't as the description stated. This means you would have to have purchased it first.

Online stores always tell you the price has been corrected and confirms you order before charging your card.

it does not say it comes with a console though and if it does it it refurbished.  Also you cannot return it and does not have any warranty.

I emailed them and they said they have only 1 bundle with a console included and that is here http://www.compusa.c...7907&pfp=BROWSE  the old sega gt2002 and jsrf combo.  so every 1 who ordered the other combo are only getting the 2 games and 2 free months of online.

I bet at least some of you will get a great deal out of this if you are persistant enough.  I just hold onto the print-out from the original, which showed the XBOX and said it came with the system.

They cought it pretty fast, though.

jungec, my own personal advice.

If you want the games, take it, it's a pretty good deal. you COULD go to small claims court, but they would likely settle on a solution like Ryan4069's and give you the bundle at full price minus the advertising discrepancy.

To me.. it's not worth it. A while ago someone posted a link for $1.25 -250 Gb HDD's. I immediatley ordered two, it came to around $15 with shipping. Obviously it was an error, and they cancelled my order, saying if i still wanted the drives I could purchase them at full price. I suppose I could of fought it... but I don't have the time or the patience.

Just my $.02 smile.gif

Yeah, I ordered a couple to. The policy of the web site says they have the right to change to cancel the order. You agree to this when you place the order. Sorry about your luck. The only minute chance you have is if they have already charged you card.

It says that they can change the online price, but not that they can change it on something you already ordered.
