Title: Duox2 Lite?

i have just ordered a duoX2 lite for my 1.3 xbox and i was wondering if it can be used to restore the tsop flash or will i just have to use the chip at all times?

any help would be great

Just stick with the chip. Chances are you don't use Xbox Live on that console anymore anyway so why bother rebuilding the TSOP?

cool. thanks for the help.

as long as i know that i can get the xbox up and running again that works for me.

and are there any suggestions as to what bios i should use on it?
keep in mind that i want to use a custom flubber and such

BIOS: X2_5035. It's already 512k in size so you don't have to worry about resizing before flashing.

Create custom BIOS using X2_ConfigMaker (for your PC), then FTP it to your console and you're done.

for custom flubber...

ind5003 (w/ config file or injected config)

or

X2_5035 (w/ config file on E:)

ok thanks for the help by the way i was just looking at you store litspliff and you have some great stuff there i think im going to be talking to you soon about ordering some stuff.

just an update.

i got my chip and the install was easy, and the flashing went great X2-5035 with F and G partitions.
thanks for all the advise.

now all i have to do is get a massive SATA drive for my xbox
