So, I just moved to my new apartment, and I had my Xbox unplugged for about 2 days. I went to plug it in and watch some movies and it gave me an error 16 code. I'm read though some instructions but it seems like everything is for unmodded xbox's. Since mine has the Duo X2 Lite is there any "easy" way to solve this issue?
If you need any more info please ask, I'd just like to get this resolved so I can use XMBC as my media center.
Thanks in advance!

it sounds like a dashboard problem.
download slayers auto installer and burn to cdrw/dvdr and go to the install main dash option.then choose which dash you want to install.
if you have an upgraded hdd in your xbox make sure to choose upgraded hdd option next to which ever dash you choose.
then after installation is finished just turn off your xbox and boot it up.
you can put in the newest version of xbmc after that.

Not sure that will work. Error 16 means the clock is wrong, and the BIOS can't find the MS Dash to set the clock with. I'm fairly certain it won't boot anything until you set the clock. You need to put the stock MS Dash on your C drive - either with xboxhdm or Xplorer360 beta 6. If the disk is unlocked it's easy, if it's locked you'll need to unlock it with your eeprom and xboxhdm, or by hotswapping. Alternatively take an unlocked disk from another Xbox (or build one with xboxhdm) - and put it in your Xbox - so long as it has the stock MS dash on it.
When you get time, update the BIOS to one that skips the clock check, so you don't have this problem next time..... X2.5035 would be my preference.

The slayers disc did not work, so i'll try the steps above...however should My xbox logo and stuff still be blue? Because right now it's like a brand new Xbox (green logo and stuff until it gets to the 16)

Ah. Sounds more like the chip is disabled - maybe your D0 connection has come loose.

Everything looks good on the chip, but i'll take a look and maybe snap some pictures.
Thanks for the help everyone I really appreciate it.

Is the red light flashing on the chip when you power on the console?
If so, the chip is getting power. If not, it's dead or not connected properly to the LPC.
If it's flashing, double check your d0 and make sure it's grounded (either to the d0 point on the chip or to a ground point on the motherboard.

The chip is not working. The original bios needs the clock set to work. Your clock.XIP files are missing or corrupt. The chip bios will skip the clock check so if it isn't operating in chip mode you need to first get the chip working. When you do restore the MS dash files completely so that if you boot the original bios you will get the clock set screen and the box will still work.

The D0 cable is broken
and since I'm not the one that soldered it I'm not sure what my next step is going to be...
Thanks for all the help guys, I greatly appreciate it.
