hello,
first time modder,
i flashed my chip (flashbios bank, over a network, no error messages at all) with what i thought to be a viable BIOS but after it restarted it began fragging. i tried to switch it to cromwell bank before flashing, but it wouldnt work, so i went ahead with flashing the flashbios bank.
so, a few questions.
i'm going to try and reflash the chip with x2 4981.06 (not the one i tried with previously), but i'm wary of messing up the still-viable cromwell side of the chip. using eurasia, can i boot up with cromwell, switch over to the now-inoperable bank, and flash it?
1. how can i convert this 256 KB bios to a functioning 512 KB bios? hex editor?
2. are there any guides to this sort of flash, using eurasia?
3. is x2 4981.06 a suitable bios?
