The bios already on Bank 0 is a .67 bios which means it supports F + G drive. If you are fitting a 300gb you need to have the drive split because the single partition will be greater than 250 GB which means data corruption becomes a problem, unless you use XBPartitioner and format with 32k clusters.
Format for a G as well as F or customise X24981 to have a large partition 6 (F) but remember to format the way stated.

If you mod the 4981 bios using XBTool you can resize it to 512k using the same program.
512k is the correct size for the flash
