I bought this box from smokinmods and i was wondering since i put in a new bigger HD the chip is blinking red is this normal - the box works fine boots every time plays the way its suppose to its just blinking red dont remember it doing that before i changed the HD

Yes, the red light is suppose to blink

the red blink just states that the chip is receiving power

Its a beacon to say " IM ALIVE! " lol,, In other words the chip is powered up and waitin.
