Just a quick note to say don't bother using the LPC rebuild board that comes with the chip. I read a number of posts saying not to, but I thought - ah it doesn't look that bad, seems to line up ok...

b@lls it is... powered up and got the dreaded on, off, on, off, on, off, on, flashy flashy. Ripped the board off, soldered using wires and it's booted 1st time.

so there.  tongue.gif

Everybody to thier own m8. I use the supplied lpc rebuild boards when needed (1.6/1.6b ) installs and never had a prob wiv them. Dont get me wrong they are an inferior product when compared to the lpc rebuild board supplied by team xecuter products x3 / x2.6. Just take ur time when aligning the lpc rebuild board up and u shud have no probs.

i don't use the rebuild boards myself anymore as I had to undo somebody's rebuild board one day and it took a while smile.gif

anyway, it's easy to use the rebuild board, but you better get it right the first time cuz it's a pain to get off.

me... i just take the extra time to do it myself
