Hello,
I haven't been on X-S for too long, but one of the most helpful things I have come across is a tutorial on the X-S homepage for how to add a PC-CD/DVD ROM drive. I have seen already that this has come in useful to a few members in this board. So I am wondering if this tut should be posted as something to troubleshoot with when people are using autoinstaller discs. I have already seen a few people post questions about flashing thier chip whith an auoto installer disc when all they really have problem with is thier DVD-Drive having problems reading thier disc. It just seems to me as an easier fix than replying to every post like this with "You need to use 'media' at 'speed". I am not trying to be pushy about this, I just think it would benefeit this forums load of TSOP flashing questions significantly.
I actually know very little about chips, but I have started participating in this forum because I bricked a couple boxes that I can no longer exploit. I just want to get involved in this forum now and learn, but at the same time I want to put in my 2 cents. If this should be in the C/S/C forum I'm sorry, I just wanted you guys who are involved to say something. Thanks!
