Title: Duox 3?

I was surfing thru www.llamma.com today and saw a how to on installing a DUOX 3!!
have any of you seen this chip yet?  link here ---->duox 3 install


if you have seen them what is new on them?

i've seen it before, but thats the ONLY place i've seen it. i don't think llamma has an actual duox3

DuoX3 is a clone of the Aladdin chip.  Basically they made a dual bios bank aladdin.  The Duo3 that team omega refers to on their site is a PS2 mod chip.

Indeed. DuoX 3 is nothing to do with Team Omega.

I haven't/wouldn't as they ain't the real thing but there have been plenty of people post about using them. They have been out a long while now but all they are is an Aladdin that had a flashrom extension built smile.gif

Good chip does what is supposed to (like any other cheapmod), I have installed a couple with no problem.  Clones are never going to go away but I guess if they work.  But for the same price (actually Duo's are probably less) you can get a DuoX2 which comes with 2 512kb banks instead of 2 256kb banks.
