Title: What Tools Do I Need?

I was just checking out some guides

and it says to use a 15w soldering iron. Should I but another soldering iron at 15W or will my 30W one work fine? Is there a greater chance of lifting a pad if I use the 30W?

The 30w is fine . More chance of damage with the lower powered iron.
