UPDATE


i earthed D0 from motherboard, light flashes but boots normal MS dash - I assume this means I need to re-do D0 on motherboard?

If the retail bios boots up with D0 grounded then the D0 point is not doing its job.
Grounding the D0 forces the boot from the LPC so if it doesn't boot the chips bios the D0 is the issue
