The lite already has a hacked bios on it so if you don't see the evox shield at the boot animation then the chip is not working. Ground the xbox D0 point to test if the D0 is working right. if it still boots the retail bios the D0 connection is not correct

Unplug the chip.
Connect Xbox D0 to ground.
If the machine does not FRAG the D0 is the problem
