Title: Alt D0 Point
Post by: philmccan on July 21, 2006, 04:21:00 PM
Are there any better pictures of the alt D0 point on the xbox motherboard than the ones that are in the pinned section? I'm just trying to get as much info as I can. I have currently have my D0 point solder on the top of the board, but a wire broke off in that hole. I just want to try again and maybe do it better on the alt D0 point. Thanks

If you did damage to the top D0 point the box will FRAG. If it does using the bottom D0 for the chip will not work. You will have to link the 2 points and repair the top D0

Hey Chancer, Thanks for the info. I did not damage the d0 point on the Xbox board. I just have a small piece of 30 awg in there that does not want to come out. I have a wire attached and working, I just do not like the look of the extra solder I had to build up to make a good connection.  ItÂ’s more of just a cosmetic thing more than any thing. Thanks again Chancer I always appreciate your input.
