With the White DuoX2 it does not come with a hacked bios on it. Cromwell and Flashbios are linux bios loader bioses (ie. to make loading a bios really easy).
Until you load a bios, you can't fun anything except original Xbox games. Download a 512k bios, or resize a different one to 512k (I personally suggest X2 5035). you can get them from the usualy places. Read up on creating a proper bios disc.
THen just use flash bios (bank 1) to flash the bios (my suggestion is to switch to bank 0 just before you insert the bios disc. This way if you mess up the flash, you can switch back to bank 1 and try again. bank 0 with cromwell requires the eurasia disc as well and is really only used on 1.6 systems)
Once you flashed the bios, then you can load Slayers.

Exactly, you click to flash from disc. Tray pops open. You flick switch to bank 0 at that point. Insert Disc and close tray.
THis is the smart way to do it. You don't have to, but by doing this you can flash a bad bios 1000 times and not ruin your chip since you can always go back. Too many people flash a bank and ruin it, then switch to the other, try again and ruin that one too, then complain on here what they should do. Listen to us and do it this way and you will never have a problem.

You can flash from either bank, except in 1.6's. Some 1.6's won't boot Flashbios and you are stuck only being able to use Cromwell (Hence why they give you both).
If you ruin both banks, your only option is to do a hot swap. This is where you need another working modded Xbox. You boot the good box and load up anything to flash the chip. Then just before you flash it, you pull off the chip and stick on the one you ruined in the other xbox. It is a little trickier to do, but is you only option if you are stupid enough to ruin both banks with bad flashes.

some chips are expensive because of the brand name/extra features.
THe DuoX2 is the best value for your money and is just as high quality as the xecuter chips.
The reason it now says Xecuter 2 is because you loaded an Xecuter 2 bios (hence the X2...) THis means that you get the same performance as the Xecuter 2.6 for a fraction of the cost.... AND don't have an ugly external bank switch since the DUoX2 uses the power and eject button.
