I get an Error 05 when trying to boot up my Xbox. I don't have any mods installed or any other thing. I already opened the box up to look for loose connections but none were found. Is there any way to fix this without a mod? :uhh:

error 5 is:

5 - kernel - HDD not locked (retail bioses require the hd to be locked)

if you have done NOTHING to your xbox as you say, then i guess the harddrive has major issues and will prob need replacing.

this can be done easily if you mod your box

first mistake was to open it, you could ahve sent it to M$

dude, why pay 100 bones for them to access my hdd when i could do it with a mod chip and have all the bonuses.
