You need to provide more detail.  What does the light on the Xbox do, is the screen just black? etc.

To check this connect Xbox D0 point to ground. (Metal ring round a screw hole) Also connect a link between BT and pin 9 (Point G in the Duo Diagrams) on the chip itself.
These are just temporary to determine what the problem is.
Report back what happens in this state.

If its a cromwell (white) DuoX 2 it should go to the bios screen after installation.
If its blue DuoX 2 then it already has a hacked bios.
If you have a blue X logo on boot then the chip already has a hacked bios on it and you don't need to flash it, but move on to the next step and install an alternate dash

Yes, you now need to install another dashboard or it will just go to the MSdash.  Go for EvoX, or my personal favourite Avalaunch
