the DuoX2 is probably just fine. Fragging like that, and the fact that your chip is getting power would indicate it is an issue with your soldering. the rebuild boards are junk and should not be used. Just use them to see where you should solder wires to, but do the rebuild with wires themselves.
99% of the time fragging is caused by bad soldering. My advice is to desolder and try again, and don't use the rebuild board. Post pics of your board if you are still having troubles.

If after resoldering and checking for cross solder and solder splash you still have trouble, try and upload some pics of your board for us to help you.

Upload pics of your wire install so we can see how it looks.

With regards to the original poster. I would say try to carefully remove the LPC rebuild board and clean up any spots that look bridged or splashed. Desolder braid and a little flux help here. Check for damaged resistors or other smt parts near where you were working. If the box boots, then theres a chance. Use wire for the LPC rebuild. Also there are some rebuild points on the topside if you messed a pad on the bottom.

The information I gave was intended for the author of this thread. As far as your install is concerned I mentioned taking pictures of your 1.0 wire install. Check your thread.

Yeah that's pretty much normal. You don't neeed to worry unless it's getting up around 66+. Your Xbox will shut down at 71.

Now you can see why all of the seasoned modder recommend the wire rebuild vs. rebuild board. Cause they are great in theory, except when they don't work it is next to impossible to troubleshoot, and the time required to remove them is just too much of a pain. Once you do your wire rebuild, if you still have problems upload some pics.
