I've installed a DuoX 2 (white linux version) modchip in the xbox. The modchip seems to be working fine. It boots to a blue Cromwell bios screen, which asks me to either load ? (it doesn't actually say what it wants) with either a CD or Ethernet connection. I have a Slayers Evox 2.6 CD (already tested on another modded xbox). I can't get the xbox to recognize the CD so that I can load the Evolution X dashboard. It won't auto-recognize the CD either.

Hello there,

 Your duox2 white chip is working just fine. You are running the cromwell bios which will only boot a linux cd. Thats why slayer's wont boot yet !

 Simply flick the switch on the modchip and try to boot. If it boots to the flashbios screen then choose Flash bios from cd and insert a BIOS cd and the flash process is automatic. If the screen goes black and flashbios doesn't load then retry a few times. If it never works then flick the switch back and load cromwell.

 Cromwell bios requires Eurasia to flash your bios. You will need to load eurasia and then flash your bios.

Thanks for the reply. The other  bank on the xbox is shot, so I'll have to use the Cromwell method. The links, however, are not working. It says that Angelfire removed the pages due to a conflict with their user agreement. Any help on getting me those instructions?
