Also Chancer, are you SURE that these Duox2 come with evox BIOS? Because the M8_16 only works on 1.6 consoles, so what happens if someone

well that's exactly it, i live in canada, and i bought this modchip from divineo, so i'm thinking they did not flash it with a M8 1.6+ BIOS (as this isn't legal), please correct me if i'm wrong.
Divineo don't flash the modchips they come pre-flashed divineo is a reseller and the Flash on the chip is the flash from the factory.

When you were at my website you must of missed this page ...

Anyway the bios is the least of your problem right now. Rip that rebuild off and solder the lpc yourself using wires - the best way
Then solder the D0 (LFRAME) wire from the back of the motherboard to the d0 pad on the Duo X2 lite.
Try booting with the power button. If it doesn't work then resolder all the conections on both pinheaders and re-test.
Once your lpc rebuild works so will your chip !
Try my Duo X2 Install guide here ...

Both Hack and I have stated the chip comes with M8+.16 bios and this is the case.
this is true both you and hackdabox are correct.

this is also true.
I would first like to start off by thanking both Chancer and Hackdabox (and others as well, but these 2 helped the most). What (i believe) was happening was the rebuild board simply was not working properly. I placed the pogo pins, then placed the lpc rebuild board, and then soldered those 2 together, i believe that some of those contacts of the LPC rebuild board were not touching the XBOX mobo LPC points even though I really put some solder on there.
So i ripped off the LPC rebulid board just like the creators of Webster ripped off Diff'rent Strokes.
i manually rebuilt the LPC, put D0 to the modchip, power ON and BAM, working with evox shield and cool xbox logo
im so relieved, i thought i was going nuts or losing my soldering skills. Manually rebuilding the LPC is the best way to go, by far!
Thanks a lot to everyone once again, these forums are a great source for help/guidance.
Thanks for taking the time to reply with your success !

PS These forums Rock !
In my opinion it depends on what LPC rebuild board you are using..The duox2, Aladdin Live ones suck because they use the circle rings which you can never tell if they are making good connection...The Aladdin XT and X3 rebuild board work great because they are half circle so you know if there is proper connection between the motherboard and the LPC rebuild board and they are easy to install.
Wire installs are great for troubleshooting but in the time takes me cut the wire, split the ends and solder them in I can make 3-5 systems with an LPC rebuild boards board. Plus they look alot cleaner.
For people not good with soldering (specially short wires) its easier to use a LPC rebuild board.
Just thought I'd give my thoughts/opinions on LPC boards, I'm not flaming anyone or trying to start Wire Vs. Lpc board discussion.
My advice was for noobs. Installers can use either method becuase you know if your chip doesn't boot to look at the rebuild board. Noobs on the other hand may have poor soldering on the rebuild as well as the headerpins and or wires , so it makes it harder to diagnose. Everyone has their own way they mod but i just think noobs should not try the rebuild boards as they only make it harder to diagnose !
