Sounds like hardware failure (most likely the hard drive)

Hard Drives die when they want to.........Try booting with a boot disk (autoinstaller) and reinstalling MS Dashn and all your apps..If it doen't work still then try a different hard drive.

HDD failure can happen at any time without anything making it happen. Its like anything electronic can fail when ever.
The bit I don't get is you say yuo got the chip installed professionally but then say I put my box together. Did you have the box in bits before this failure.? If so what were you doing with it.
Its not a chip problem at all by the way.

Well I sent it out to xboxrepairguide.com. But they told me to send just what was broken, so I sent it with the top off and the hdd and dvd drive out. So when I got it back I put that all back together. Last two errors I got were 6 and 21? I'm downloading a boot disc, hopefully that will do something...I hope. Only thing when I was putting it back together, when I was screwing the top on, it popped, and shut all the way, that happened before once though when I screwed the top back on, so...I dunno.
