see, what the hell is up with their help-forums? Nor did they reply to my email regarding my potential purchase. I want to get a chip thats currently compatible with all versions. The Xchip claims to do so. As of now, purchasing a chip is gunna be the only way for me to load config magic, backup the eeprom, and lock my new drive.
Do you know if the chameleon is compatible with the new solderless adapter they sell?

I actually had similar problems when I purchased my xchip a while back. I always seemed to be getting their anwsering machine. It really pissed me off. Although I did figure out that they were on the east coast. So I called really early in the morning for me since im on the west coast. They picked up on the first ring. They also break for lunch and don't anwser their phone. Hope this helps.
