Well i am new to mod chips. First one recieved today it is an x-chip Lite. I installed it with the solderless adaptar. Red light works i can get the the cromwell screen. I found in the Cromwell Utls that it says that the harddrive is unlocked then i can locked it but when i do and try to do something else after that and go back it stays it is unlocked still. But after that i can't figure out what to do. I can get the flashed x-chip screen to come up on my computer. All i want is to lock my harddrive because my harddrive messed up so i bought a new one and a bought a modchip to lock it to the motherboard. Then later on use the modchip for other uses. So i put the new harddrive in. And i recieved a Slayer's xbox autoinstaller v2.6 DVD-R with my modchip and i was just wondering do i just put this in the xbox and have the modchip on and then it will boot from this disk or what am i suppose to do. Hopefully you guys know what i am talking about. I am just really confused about all this stuff right now. So my main goal is to just lock this new harddrive and just be able to play this xbox like a Brand New unmodded xbox would be played. Thanks in advance. I have a version 1.4 if that helps any.

Well don't worry about this thread. After 4 hours of reading and searching on tuts i was able to finally get the original bios back on there. Now back to gaming.
