Title: No Video With Chip In

i just got my xchiplite, and when i put it in and turn the box on it doesnt output any video. It doesnt frag or anything, everything would seem alright except for the no video part. I tried putting it in other boxes, and same happens. What could be worng with it?
edit: by the way its a 1.1 xbox, and im using a solderless adapter.

Use the original video cables that came with the box.
