Title: X-chip Bio Problem

Ok, my X-chip used to work fine with the ev0x bio. All the sudden the bio wouldn't run any more once I started my xbox, it would go to the regular xbox bio. I reflashed the chip and It goes back to the evox bio perfectly as I wanted. But once I remove the usb port from the back of the chip and try and load the xbox it will go back to xbox bio. Its as if I don't have the usb port plugged in, the evox bio won't load. Please help!

Are you using solderless adapter? If so may have moved and came loose.

If you are using soldered in, I would check thats when you used teh bleu cable that it did not pull the chip and is not 100% seated on the header.

I Will open up my xbox and check when I come back after school, but yeah I am using a solderless adapter.

Most likley when cable attched it it pulling it in proper direction and giving it power from USB port.  That is why it working how it is, just reallign and SNUG down screw an dmake sure plastic on solderless is flush with motherboard on xbox.

that problem happened to me too. im using solderless adaptor. i think u misplace the OS wire on a different hole. bcuz ther is no powersource on ur xchip to turn on. so when u open ur xbox. make sure u see xchip lights turns on (without connecting it to usb) when u turn on ur xbox.
